Artist Adventurer She/Her
Kyra Noelle Roberson
You can find me in the woods, on a bike trail or out on my kayak exploring nature or urban jungle. I probably have an old dog by my side and a cat on my back, with a giant smile on my face. The fresh air and adrenaline fuel my art and pursuit of happiness.

My Art
Art is an outlet for me to connect and create a visual display to reach others. The goals I have for my artwork is to leave a ripple of positive examples. Leading by example has taken on more of a definition than I ever thought it would. This notion came to me over many years of broad study, from art history to sociology. There is a lot of understanding and unknown left to discover about the earth, it’s inhabitants and the universe around it. History has become increasingly relevant to me, as it seems to echo into the future. So much is left out culturally speaking, of positivity, hope, and real life for African American and other ethnic groups. The fabrication and misrepresentation today has become a central point for the media, politics and pop culture to draw lines of hatred, mistrust and bigotry to the masses. Now I can see clearly the direction of my artwork and what drives me to create it. I want to be a part of the shift providing substance, empowerment and self-worth; no matter the ethnicity, race, gender or orientation. Opportunity, determination and cultural exploration combined with creativity are the ingredients I plan to use to saturate the timeline with my own record of truth.
